WHO WE ARE
The Awesome Cooksters is a UK family entertainment website operated by Craig Cooke in Doncaster, England. The website shares family videos, SEN journeys, comics, games, live events and membership content.
INFORMATION WE COLLECT
- Account information supplied through Sign in with ChatGPT, including the signed-in email address and, where available, display name.
- Follower connections, creator eligibility, Cookster Coin balance, purchases and owned-content records.
- Videos submitted for publication, upload details, comments, likes, gifts and other information deliberately submitted during interactive features.
- Technical security information needed to operate, protect and troubleshoot the website.
- Payment status and transaction identifiers from Stripe once payments are connected. Full card details will be handled by Stripe and not stored by The Awesome Cooksters.
WHY WE USE IT
We use account and purchase information to provide membership access, keep a member library, deliver purchased content, prevent misuse, answer enquiries and meet legal obligations. We will identify and document the appropriate lawful basis for each activity before live payments and marketing begin.
CHILDREN
This is family-friendly content, but purchases and account management must be completed by an adult aged 18 or over. Children should use the website with a parent or carer and must not submit their phone number, address, school, social-media details or other private information. Where consent is relied upon for a child under 13, verifiable parental consent may be required.
SHARING AND PROCESSORS
Information may be processed by essential providers used to run the service, including ChatGPT Sites for hosting and sign-in, Stripe for payments when enabled, and Cloudflare Stream when professional live streaming is connected. We do not sell personal information.
RETENTION AND SECURITY
Information will be kept only for as long as needed for the account, purchase, safety, tax, dispute or legal purpose involved. Reasonable technical and organisational safeguards will be used, but no online system can promise absolute security.
YOUR RIGHTS
UK data-protection rights may include access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection and data portability, depending on the circumstances. You may also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.
